At the beginning of 2021, I joined in with what is known as the #100DaysProject. The concept is that one creates a piece of artwork, every day, for 100 days. Typically, artists choose a theme or a medium to focus on. It is important for our artistic development to participate in deep exploration within a theme and/or a medium, and the 100 Days Project is a commitment to that end. I chose pen & ink with watercolor because I love the graphic quality of the black ink, juxtaposed with the effects of wet watercolor. I had a blast!

Well, I almost made it to 100 days, not quite, but almost! I’m really pleased with the body of work that I made and I hope to revisit the #100 Days Project in 2022.
